The Mines and Geosciences Bureau-IX hosted a blended Regional Mining Forum on November 25, 2020 at the La Casa Maria Hotel. Participants to the said forum such as members of the Regional Development Council (RDC-IX) and MPSA/EP and ISAG contract/permit holders within the Region, have joined the said forum via Zoom to ensure that safety health protocols were strictly observed.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1667, s. 2008, November 19 to 25 of every year is declared as the National Climate Change Consciousness Week, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau-IX conducted a coastal cleanup on November 20, 2020 along RT Lim Boulevard, Zamboanga City and a tree planting activity in Abong-Abong, Pasonanca, Zamboanga City on November 24, 2020, respectively.
